About Enza

I firmly believe that mental health is as important as physical health and that everyone is entitled to psychological and emotional wellbeing.  I founded Aria Psychology out of my desire to provide high quality, evidence-based services to help people to achieve the psychological and emotional wellness that they strive for.

In my work, I aim to provide an environment that is supportive, non-judgemental, warm, and understanding.  My approach to therapy is person centred and focuses on each person as an individual with their own strengths and expertise, and their own unique goals for therapy.  My aim is to assist the people I work with to reach a greater understanding of the difficulties they may be experiencing, but also to build on their existing strengths and develop new skill sets that can be applied now and into the future.

Background and Experience

Since completing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I have gone on to work and gain experience in a number of settings.  I worked at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre offering psychological therapy to cancer patients and then the Royal Melbourne Hospital where I worked with individuals across a number of areas including acute care and outpatient rehabilitation, provided group education sessions for clients with various medical concerns, and co-piloted a group mindfulness program for women with breast and gynaecological cancers.  I have worked exclusively in private practice since 2012.
